How long does the treated tooth last?

Can I eat normally after the procedure?
We recommend avoiding chewing on the treated tooth until the crown is placed, as it is more vulnerable during this period. Soft foods are fine immediately after treatment. Once the crown is fitted, you can eat normally.
Is a crown always necessary after root canal treatment?
For back teeth (molars and premolars) that bear heavy chewing loads, a crown is strongly recommended to prevent the tooth from fracturing. Front teeth may sometimes be restored with just a filling, depending on how much tooth structure remains — your dentist will advise.
What happens if I don't get the treatment done?
